Council has approximately 18,000 mailboxes on its system (current and
those used by former employees and contractors). Searches that specify
“all of council” or “anyone” (even when limited by date range and keyword
criteria) take considerably longer to perform, especially when it is
considered that some mailboxes are several gigabytes in size 

 

Would you be able to refine your request by: 

 

o Restricting the scope of the request by focussing on particular search
terms or people; 
o Give us an idea of what you need to know so we can be more focused in
our search

 

If you would like to make a refinement please let me know by 20 March and
we will reconsider your request. Otherwise it is likely your request will
be refused under s17(f) – substantial collation and research.
