I hope your week has been going well.

I would like to let you know that we are requiring more time to respond to
your request.

I’m sorry that we will not be able to provide you with the information
today. We are needing a few more days to consult with staff and get a
sign-off.

Auckland Council is therefore extending the time limit for responding to
your request under section 14 of the Local Government Official Information
and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA). We will reply to your request by 14 April
2023. Please note this is a maximum response time and we will endeavour to
respond sooner.

The reason for this extension is:

- Consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are ongoing
and a proper response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the
original time limit.

Please note you have the right to request a review of this extension from
the Ombudsman.

If you have any questions please let us know.

Ngâ mihi,

Amanda

Our Healthy Waters team has advised that any work in the Rangitopuni
stream would have been reactive maintenance (based on when a request for
service was made).  We could provide the details of reactive maintenance
for the time period requested, however, we would need specific addresses
to be able to run the appropriate reporting. Are you able to provide us
with an address to look into this for you, please?

If you could get back to us by the end of the week that would be really
appreciated.

Dear Amanda,

Thanks for the reply. It's concerning that no preventative maintenance has been done on this flood choke point.

I'm not sure what address the stream would have,

Are you saying the only reference you would have would be the address of anyone who requested it?

It could have been anyone on Te Roera Place, Duchess Way, Duke Street, Wautaiti Dr, Mill Grove, Crabb Fields Lane, or Cobblers Lane. Would you need a list of all properties on those streets to be able to advise on any reactive maintenance

Yours sincerely,

Marcus Cook
