Could you also please advise your expected or forecast OOZ places in 2025 and 2026.

Finally, could you advise please how many OOZ enrolment requests you received for 2024 Y9 places.

Under the OIA, I'm not required to advise why I'm requesting the information or how I intend to use it, only that I'm entitled to make the request. As a NZ Citizen, I confirm I am entitled. Per the Ombudsman, I'm also not required to prove this unless there is a "genuine need" to do so. Please explain the genuine need you see and confirm an email address to which I can send the appropriate proof if I agree that it is necessary.

Be that as it may, the intention of the request is to get a number (and a forecast or expected number) of pupils in Year 9 at local (where students in the request would be likely to go) secondary schools from the intended catchment of the proposed "Kumeu College" to reinforce to the Ministry the need to expedite the proposed school.

In terms of the proposed charge, I'm sure you're aware of the Ombudsman's guidance around charging. I would not consider this request to require "considerable labour" to compile the data (noting my second paragraph starting "*If* the data is available"). If the broken down data would require considerable resource, it's fine to not have that breakdown.

That being said, if you still consider "considerable labour" would be required around the first, third, and fourth paragraphs, please advise an estimate of the time estimated to compile it, and the associated charges.
