Re: Maintenance plans - Rangitopuni Stream 
 
 
Thank you for your email dated 28 February 2023 in which you requested information about 
the maintenance of the  Rangitopuni Stream.  The specific details of your request and our 
response are below. 
 
“I would like to request the maintenance and inspection information for the Rangitopuni 
Stream in Riverhead - specifically, the section downstream from the bottom of Duke 
Street towards the river. 
I would like this information for the last five (5) years. This information should include: 
Frequency of inspections - intended, planned, and actually carried out. 
Job cards, worksheets, memos, or other information related to the inspections. 
Job cards, worksheets, memos, or other information relating to any maintenance or 
repair work carried out.  
Any recommended work required and whether or not this has been carried out. 
Any correspondence received or sent with regard to this section of the stream 
(anonymised if required).” 
 
Healthy Waters are unable to locate any information specific to Rangitopuni Stream, however, 
have run a search for maintenance work completed in the surrounding streets: Te Roera 
Place, Duchess Way, Duke Street, Wautaiti Dr, Mil  Grove, Crabb Fields Lane, or Cobblers 
Lane. Please see the attached document with a list of maintenance jobs between 2016 - 2023 
on these roads. 
      
Some information about property addresses is withheld under s 7(2)(a) of the LGOIMA to 
protect the privacy of natural persons.
