Dear Accident Compensation Corporation,
How many times have ACC staff contacted the Whanganui District Council payroll or human resources team to raise or resolve payment issues or concern raised by ACC clients under their accredited employer status in the last 24 months prior to 1 February 2023?
If possible I would like this information provided by:
- Total number of clients that have received ACC via the ERA held by Whanganui District Council from 1 February 2021 to 1 February 2023
- Number of total contacts (phone, email or letter) made to Whanganui District Council by ACC staff regarding payment concerns raised by clients
- Number of complaints per client if relevant
For clarity, this is not asking for any specific client information and is asking this contact to be quantified by numbers only and all data anonymised.
This OIA is in response to ACC confirming to me in my OIA request dated 22 July 2022 that they have no process for complaints against ERA employers incorrectly paying employees their ACC entitlements https://fyi.org.nz/request/19684-process...

Thanks for the clarification, yes I did mean Whanganui District Council as an ERA.
I understand that client privacy is paramount however I do not feel that this applies to the question and would ask that this is reviewed. This would not identify any clients if the answer is quantified only i.e. number of contacts to the Whanganui District Council payroll regarding payments.

Council under the ERA, there was one phone conversation between ACC and
the Whanganui District Council regarding payments. No complaints were
identified.
