AHB walking and cycling festivities

James A made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for James A to read a recent response and update the status.

From: James A

Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,

In the media release "Waka Kotahi Board confirms position on Auckland Harbour Bridge lane reallocation trial" (https://www.nzta.govt.nz/media-releases/...), it was stated:

"Waka Kotahi will also continue with planning for opportunities to allow Aucklanders to walk or cycle over the bridge in a safely controlled environment as part of a series of single day walking and cycling festivities this summer."

I'd like to request any documents or correspondence confirming the status of these events (are they delayed from the November 2022 start date endorsed by the WK board in December 2021, or cancelled?).

Please feel free to cancel this request if an announcement is made regarding the events in the interim.

Yours faithfully,

James A
