Samuel Finnimore Emergency Call Transcripts

Chris McCashin made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Chris McCashin to read recent responses and update the status.

From: Chris McCashin

Dear New Zealand Police,

Per previous OIA requests I understand emergency call transcripts have been released in prior cases so please do not obfuscate, delay all of the other things that go on over there. As usual another “unexplained” death occurred that if reports are true then a healthy 20 year old just fell through his window. Reports suggest

- Monday night no drugs or alcohol
- Middle of night just got up and fell out the window

Now I’m no detective but I would suggest this young healthy person would not fall out the window unless he was in distress. Which leads me to believe stroke, clot, brain bleed, cardiac any one of the sudden events that have mysteriously started impacting society that nobody can work out. Just some for you Lincoln University death, 7 year old in Wairoa, south Auckland school death, 13 year old Wellington, 15 year old Wellington, 16 year old Northland, 29 year old Tokoroa and the list goes on endlessly.

Please provide the transcript of the emergency call relating to the above incident in Christchurch. My condolences to this poor family and let’s wait 12 - 24 months for the coroner to come up with one of the above diagnoses or “natural unexplained” causes.

Must be pretty devastating police to keep turning up to these young people suddenly dying.

Yours faithfully,
Chris
