Tçnâ koe Tangata Whenua,

Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the
Act) to Manatû Hauora (Ministry of Health) on 30 August 2022 for
information regarding the COVID-19 Vaccine. Each part of your request is
responded to below.

(1) Is the Covid-19 Vaccine a Medical Experiment Treatment?

The Pfizer vaccine has provisional consent and is not experimental.
Information regarding the approval status of the vaccine can be found
here:
[1]www.medsafe.govt.nz/COVID-19/status-of-applications.asp#:~:text=Status%3A%20Approved%20under%20section%2023,conditions%20on%2021%20June%202021.

(2) Are medical professionals paid to administer the Covid-19 Vaccine,
provided with Identification from the Ministry of Health?

Information related to this part of your request can be found in a
previously released response:
[2]https://www.health.govt.nz/system/files/...

(3) Why are nurses who administer the alleged experimental medical
treatment afraid to identify themselves. What do they have to hide?

While the Act allows New Zealanders to ask for information from Ministers
and government agencies, there is no requirement for agencies to create
new information, compile information they do not hold or provide or prove
an opinion. Your questions and the statements that support them appear
designed to engage in a debate about the Government’s COVID-19 vaccination
programme, rather than a request for official information. The Act does
not support requests where an opinion, comment, argument, or hypothetical
statement is put to the Ministry for response, couched as a request for
information. This part of your request is therefore refused under section
18(g) on the grounds that it is not held by Manatû Hauora.

Under section 28(3) of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to
review any decisions made under this request. The Ombudsman may be
contacted by email at: [3][email address] or by calling 0800
802 602.
