What are all the usual safety checks and regulations for the pfizer covid medicine?

Erika Whittome made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health

Currently waiting for a response from Ministry of Health, they must respond promptly and normally no later than (details and exceptions).

From: Erika Whittome

Dear Ministry of Health,
I refer to your webpage from 2021 which says:
"mRNA vaccines have been in development for decades
mRNA vaccines have been developed through major international collaboration.

Researchers have studied and worked with mRNA vaccines for decades. This includes studies for vaccines against flu, Zika, rabies and cytomegalovirus (CMV).

Scientists have also researched past coronavirus infections (SARS and MERS). Once scientists identified the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, they could quickly adapt the technology for COVID-19.

Although it’s relatively new technology, this vaccine has gone through all the usual safety checks and regulations.

This includes international clinical trials to help demonstrate the efficacy and safety of the vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine is being used worldwide and continually and closely monitored for effectiveness and safety."
(from https://web.archive.org/web/202111160013... )

Would you kindly provide the information on:
1 All the usual safety checks and regulations for the Covid-19 Pfizer vaccination? (These were stated on the MoH website above.)
2. How do these "usual safety checks and regulations" fit in with the Medicine Act 1981 ? Please consider for example section 20 (3)

"No consent given under this section shall be deemed to warrant the safety or efficacy of the medicine to which the consent relates." (https://www.legislation.govt.nz/act/publ...)

And please consider section 21 (2)
(i) reports of any tests made to establish the safety of the medicine for the purposes for which and in the manner in which it is intended to be used:
(j)reports of any tests made to control the strength, quality, purity, or safety of the medicine and of the method of testing:

3. Kindly supply all the reports supplied as per the Medicines Act s21 (2) (i) and (ii) for the Pfizer vaccination.

Yours faithfully,

Erika Whittome
