Response to your request for official information Thank you for your follow up request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) to Manatū
Hauora (the Ministry of Health) on 5 December 2022 for further information regarding the COVID-
19 Pfizer vaccine. Please find a response to each part of your request below:
I can not find the safety testing data on the medsafe website that you referred me to?

Please provide the exact experimental studies that were performed prior to my request as
the medsafe website does not disclose any safety testing data or maybe an expert is
required.
On 7 and 12 December 2022, you were contacted by Manatū Hauora to clarify this part of your
request. We asked if by experimental studies you meant clinical trials, excipient testing or active
ingredient testing, and if by safety testing you meant clinical trials, animal studies.
As we did not receive clarification from you, your request is refused under section 18(g)(i) of the
Act as the information requested is not held by Manatū Hauora and there are no grounds for
believing connected more closely with the functions with another agency subject to the Act.
Please note that while the Act allows New Zealanders to ask for information from Ministers and
government agencies, there is no requirement for agencies to create new information, compile
information they do not hold or provide or prove an opinion.
Please provide me with all clinical data and ingredients of the pfizer covid vaccine as an
official request to medsafe has disclosed that they themselves do not have the information I
am seeking so I do not know why you are sending me to a source that has no clue?
Clinical data regarding the Pfizer vaccine is publicly available. Data can be found in the New
