ONE: “New Zealand's Activism Landscape” 12 October 2021

TWO: [NIC-SR-211021] "Protests and Activism" 21 October 2021

THREE: “OSINT Collection Summary” 8 October 2021. For the avoidance of doubt, I am referring to the OSINT Team report referred to in this document published by DPMC (page 2, paragraph 9):

I would also like to request copies of these two documents related to Police’s update of the National Risk Register Risk Profile – Civil Unrest in August 2020:

FOUR: The presentation or report delivered by Police in August 2020 to the Security Intelligence Board on the topic of their update to the Civil Unrest Risk Profile. I would also like to request a copy of the Work Programme that accompanied this update

I have been asked to advise you that Police requires an extension of time in which to respond to your request, pursuant to section 15A(1) of the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA). Specifically, or section 15A(1)(b), consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a proper response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.

Police requires until 26 September 2022 to provide a substantive response to your request. We are endeavouring to provide this to you as soon as possible.
You have the right, under section 28(3) of the OIA, to make a complaint to an Ombudsman about this extension.

Some of the information to which your request relates is not held by Police, but is believed to be held by and/or is more closely connected with the functions of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The related portions of your request are as follows:

"FIVE: A copy of the Civil Unrest Risk Profile."

In these circumstances, we are required by section 14 of the OIA to transfer your request. The portions of your request detailed above have been transferred to DPMC.
