Dear Watercare Services Limited,

I request the following official information, regarding the Meremere Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrade completed in 2021 on behalf of the Waikato District Council.

1. I understand Waikato District Council allocated a capital budget of $6 million towards this upgrade. I understand the population of Meremere is under 500 people. Please outline the business case justifying the capital spend.
2. Please provide the amounts spent on contractors, consultants and planners for the upgrade.
3. Please outline the procurement procedure(s) observed for the upgrade.

within 15 working days and are granted at our discretion.

service. All leaks are attended to in order of priority and safety. If you
have already reported a leak and it appears to be getting worse, please
call us so we can keep our crew updated.
