Dear Chandula
Thank you for your information request of 1 August 2022.
In order to provide you with the most accurate information in response to
your request, could you please clarify the following questions for me:
o ‘I would like to request Fire Service summary for all incident call
outs from 2019 to 2021, yearly, for the whole of New Zealand.’
Can you confirm if you mean all incident types? Or do you mean
specifically fire related incidents only?
Can you also please confirm if you would like to request the Fire Service
summary for all incidents either received, responded to or Attended?
Terminology
Received = when a station receives an alert or alarm triggered by an
incident
Responded = when a fire unit/appliance leaves the station and is enroute
to an incident, sometimes the unit will be enroute to an incident and then
advised halfway to the location that they will not be required and can
return to the station.
Attended = When a unit/appliance leaves the station and arrives at the
incident.
Can you please provide the above information as soon as possible so we are
able to collate the necessary information to fulfil your request.
Kind Regards
