I refer to your email below, requesting information about the number of
votes made by people on the ratepayer electoral roll.
I can advise that in accordance with section 12 of the Local Government
Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA) we have transferred
your request to the Electoral Commission to respond. This is because the
requested information is believed to be more closely aligned with the
functions of the Electoral Commission.
They will respond to your request within 20 working days of receipt of
your request.
