Unpublished documents owned by Prof. Helen Petousis-Harris
Surya ARBY made this Official Information request to University of Auckland
The request was refused by University of Auckland.
From: Surya ARBY
Dear University of Auckland,
Would you be able to provide copies of unpublished reports, preliminary reports, presentations to conferences, workshops or seminars and correspondence including emails to and from Prof. Helen Petousis-Harris relating to the effectiveness/risk of diseases (pertussis, pneumococcal or any other) in vaccinated children born to mothers immunized during pregnancy ?
By way of two examples only, such documents/emails would include those related to a presentation in Buenos aires relating to ’The Sweet Spot’ and another set of documents/emails would relate to a meeting titled "The Science of Vaccine Safety” or similar which occured in May 2019 in London.
Thank you
Yours faithfully,
Surya ARBY
From: Rebecca Ewert
University of Auckland
Dear Surya,
I refer to your request of 17 February 2022. Due to the large scope of
your request (which I note includes all relevant email correspondence and
is not limited to any particular timeframe), it is not possible to provide
you with the requested documents without substantial collation or
research. Please advise by Friday 11 March 2022 whether you wish to
significantly narrow this part of your request and, if so, how. If you do
not wish to amend this part of your request, it is likely that the
University will refuse it under section 18(f) of the OIA.
You should also be aware that the Official Information Act 1982 permits
agencies to charge for providing official information under the Act. In
accordance with Ministry of Justice guidelines ([1]Charging guidelines for
OIA requests | New Zealand Ministry of Justice), staff time spent in
processing your request can be charged at a rate of $76 per hour (after
the first hour). If your request can be narrowed so that it is not
necessary to refuse it under section 18(f), the University will decide
whether to grant your request and, if it is to be granted, for what
charge.
Yours sincerely,
Rebecca Ewert

Dear Rebecca Ewert,
I'm specially looking for two cohort studies related to the increased risk of pertussis in vaccinated children against pertussis born from mothers who were themselves vaccinated against pertussis. Would it be possible to retrieve all numerical/statistical tables and reports for those two unpublished studies ?
Yours sincerely,
Surya ARBY
From: Rebecca Ewert
