I refer to your email we received on 3 January.

 

Please find attached a list of cameras operated by CCC and their
locations. Please note, this does not include the location details of
crime and enforcement cameras. This information is being withheld under
following section of the Local Government Official Information and
Meetings Act 1987.

-          7(2)(d) – Avoid prejudice to measures protecting the health and
safety of members of the public

 

In the Council's view the reasons for withholding these details are not
outweighed by public interest considerations in section 7(1) favouring
their release.

 

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision. Information about how to make a complaint is available at
[1]www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or freephone 0800 802 602.
