Financial impact of not using my vaccine pass on the Library

Amy Shaw made this Official Information request to Christchurch City Council

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Amy Shaw to read a recent response and update the status.

From: Amy Shaw

Dear Christchurch City Council,

What paid events can not be run at Fendalton Library when the vaccine pass is not used?

What is the revenue lost due to having a 50 person limit on Fendalton Library - from cancelling paid events? (Which would occur if following the orange light restrictions and not using vaccine passes.)

What is the annual financial profit or loss of Christchurch City Libraries?

How much revenue is bought in by charging a $3 hold fee on books?

Yours faithfully,

Amy Shaw

A   We were unable to safely run most library programmes and events under

have been run at Fendalton Library since operating under Covid
restrictions

A. The Long Term Plan includes a rates-funded net cost of service of $46.9
million for the current 2021/22 year.

More detail can be found on page 23 in the Libraries Activity Plan in the
