Comorbidities

C. A. Quinlan made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for C. A. Quinlan to read recent responses and update the status.

From: C. A. Quinlan

Dear Ministry of Health,

I have questions regarding hospitalisations:

1. How many of the hospitalised covid cases had one or more comorbidities?
2. What is the total number of comorbidities in all hospitalised cases.
2. Can you break the number of comorbidities down by age group (within 10 years)?

For example:

Comorbidity | Age Group | # Hospitalisations
Cardiovascular disease | 30-39 | 2
Cardiovascular disease | 40-49 | 3
Cardiovascular disease | 50-59 | 5
Obesity | 30-39 | 2
Obesity | 40-49 | 3
Obesity | 50-59 | 1
Hypertension | 30-39 | 3
Hypertension | 40-49 | 4
Hypertension | 50-59 | 6

Yours faithfully,
Craig
