Dear Official Information,
Thank you for your reply. I note you have already identified the emails that may fall in scope. I also note the Ombudsman guidance on rejection based on substantial collation says:
Time required to make a decision on withholding or release of information that has already been found and brought together does not go toward establishing ‘substantial collation or research’. Where the following tasks relate to decision making on withholding or release, they should not be taken into account:
reading, review and assessment; and
consultation (including consultation with legal advisors, or affected third parties); and
redacting information that an agency has decided there is good reason to withhold.
https://www.ombudsman.parliament.nz/site...
Given this guidance, I ask that you reconsider this request.
Should it be of benefit, I am specifically interested in:
- Information relating specifically to Sarah Trotman's actions on 16 April 2021 - i.e. what she is alleged to have done
- I am not interested in information held about the focus on the protest (the decision to remove trees etc)
- I am happy for all staff members names and details to be redacted
- I would like communications from Sarah Trotman in response to the events on that day and to the staff complaint
Yours sincerely,

Subject: Re: LGOIMA - 8140009655 -Sarah Trotman's conduct - 16 April 2021
Dear Auckland Council,
I would like to resubmit this LGOIMA request (8140009655). I note the
original request was denied under privacy grounds. For the new request, I
am happy for all identifying material to be removed. I request the details
of the original complaint - specifically i am interested in Information
relating to Sarah Trotman's actions on 16 April 2021 - i.e. what she is
alleged to have done. I also request all Sarah Trotman's communications
with the Council in relation to this matter. Again, given the previous
request was denied for privacy reasons, I am happy for all identifying
information to be removed.
Yours sincerely,
George Morrison
