Re: Sarah Trotman’s conduct 16 April 2021
Thank you for your email of 22 November 2022. Your specific request and our response are
set out below.
I would like to resubmit this LGOIMA request (8140009655). I note the original request was
denied under privacy grounds. For the new request, I am happy for all identifying material to
be removed. I request the details of the original complaint - specifical y i am interested in
Information relating to Sarah Trotman's actions on 16 April 2021 - i.e. what she is al eged to
have done. I also request all Sarah Trotman's communications with the Council in relation to
this matter. Again, given the previous request was denied for privacy reasons, I am happy
for all identifying information to be removed.
This updated request is refused pursuant to the following subsections of the Local
Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987:
Section 7(2)(a) to protect the privacy of natural persons, and
Section 7(2)(c) to protect information which is subject to an obligation of confidence.
Decisions relating to the information that is being released to you were made by
Rose
Leonard Manager Governance Services.
Should you believe Auckland Council has not responded appropriately to your request, you
have the right by way of complaint, under section 27(3) of the LGOIMA, to apply to the
Ombudsman to seek an investigation and review of the decision.
