Businesses charged more in ACC levies than their gross income
David Eccles made this Official Information request to Accident Compensation Corporation
The request was successful.
      From: David Eccles

    Dear Accident Compensation Corporation,
My partner had a gross self-employed income that was a lot less than their ACC levy, due to minimum income adjustments based on an assumed 30-hour work week. I would like to know how many other businesses are in a similar situation.
Could you please let me know:
* How many businesses had an ACC levy greater than their gross income in 2021
* How many businesses were charged an ACC levy in 2021
* How many businesses had an ACC levy greater than their gross income in 2020
* How many businesses were charged an ACC levy in 2020
* How many businesses had an ACC levy greater than their gross income in 2019
* How many businesses were charged an ACC levy in 2019
* Among these businesses, for each year, the mean percentage of gross income that businesses were charged as an ACC levy
