Dear Ministry of Health,
I understand that a study on background deathrates has just been funded which I will be interested to read when it is written but in the meantime could you please provide me with the answers to the following:
1) Please can you provide me with the admission numbers to New Zealand hospitals for the last 5 years? 2016-2020, and the current year so far?
2) Of those who died of any causes this year, how many had received any Covid-19 vaccine and how many were unvaccinated?
3) Of those admitted to hospital in 2020, how many have received any covid-19 vaccine?

Mr Rodgers left an annotation ()
As it stands your request doesn't make a lot of sense. You can be admitted to hospital for a range of things from elective surgery on an ingrown toenail to a traumatic injury from a motor vehicle accident. Do you want all of those admissions?
The hospital is not going to be asking you whether you have had the jab in either case.
