Kia ora Harry Peterson

Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act received on 27 August 2021. We are emailing you to seek clarification and propose a refinement of your request.
We note that in the title of your request you ask for "All information given to cabinet regarding extending the level four lockdown in Northland."

I wish to clarify if you are seeking the Cabinet papers only that relate to your request. If so, we will identify the titles of the relevant papers. Cabinet papers are proactively released and are available on the following website: Unite against COVID-19 (covid19.govt.nz)

However, if you are seeking broader information, we would suggest a refinement for formal advice that references the extending of the alert level four lockdown for all of Northland (which would include the Whangarei district), received by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet as part of broader advice on alert level changes for New Zealand.

I would appreciate if you could please email clarification of your request and agreement to our proposed refinement by Friday 10 September. If we have not heard from you by this date, we will consider your request as it is currently framed. You can contact us to discuss our proposals by email to: [DPMC request email]
