Dear Janna,

I refer to your request of 4 July 2021 for information about the
University’s 2021 MBChB admissions. The University’s response follows

“1. Number of first year seats available in SWD”

Places allocated to UTAS categories are not subdivided into places
reserved for First Year pathway applicants or Graduate pathway
applicants. Places allocated to the Disability UTAS are available to
both First Year pathway applicants and Graduate pathway applicants. Two
places were allocated to the Disability UTAS in 2021. Also note that, in
accordance with the University’s UTAS Policy, unfilled places from UTAS
categories can be re-allocated to fill UTAS categories
([1]https://www.auckland.ac.nz/en/about/the-...).”

“2. Number of first years interviewed in SWD”

9.

“3. Interview GPA cut off for first year SWD applicants”

6.7.

“4. How many first year applicants there were in this category”

19.

“5. Range of GPA for all applicants in this category”

The lowest GPA for a successful First Year applicant in the Disability
UTAS category was in the 7.26-7.50 range.

The highest GPA for an unsuccessful First Year applicant in the
Disability UTAS category was also in the 7.26-7.50 range. The GPAs of
these individual applicants have been provided as ranges rather than as
specific values under section 9(2)(a) of the OIA to protect their
privacy.

You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with this response.

Yours sincerely,

Rebecca Ewert
