This is a request for information relating to the Police-led Multi-Agency Coordination and Intervention Programme.

I request copies of all reports-back or briefings to the Minister for Police relating to the development and implementation of this programme, dated since the programme’s inception.

I also request copies of the minutes of all MACIP inter‐agency workshops. If no minutes were kept, I request copies of whatever other document was produced by Police to summarise the outcome of these workshops.

If Police’s development and implementation of this programme has an associated work programme or implementation plan, I request a copy of this as well.

I have been asked to advise you that Police requires an extension of time
in which to respond to your request, pursuant to section 15A(1) of the
Official Information Act (OIA). Specifically, 15A(1)(b), consultations
necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a proper
response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time
limit.

 

Police require until 17 August 2021 to provide a substantive response to
your request.

 

You have the right, under section 28(3) of the OIA, to make a complaint to
an Ombudsman about this extension.
