Good afternoon,

 

Thank you for your query regarding parking in Haunui Lane. The Transport
team have provided the following information:

 

 1.  Parking along Huanui Lane is legal in certain defined locations.
Within each block there are 3 parking bays for two vehicles each and
restricted to 120 minute parking with a payment tariff, plus one
mobility park (for disabled persons) plus one motorcycle stand. The
infrastructure to enforce parking, including signage, is not currently
in place. Due to this it has not being deemed reasonable to enforce
parking.
 2. Staff are currently developing proposals to change the status of
parking on Huanui Lane, which when complete will be submitted to
Council for consideration and a decision.
 3. The documentation, reports and polices that relate to the above are
attached.
