This is an illegal bylaw as it goes again the law set by central government that this is a legal practice in NZ, so I am interested to see how this has been justified by councillors.

The Council approved consultation on its Prostitution Bylaw at the Council
meeting of 27 June 2019. The minutes of this meeting are available [1]here

Hearings on the Prostitution bylaw were held on 29 August 2019. The
minutes of this hearing are available [3]here and a recording of the

The Council adopted the current Prostitution Bylaw at its meeting of 17
