Unconscious bias surveys relating to transport modes

Michael Brown made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency

New Zealand Transport Agency did not have the information requested.

From: Michael Brown

Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,

I am interested to know whether Agency staff hold an unconscious bias against non-vehicular modes of transport such as cycling and walking.

Please provide the following information:

1. Has NZTA has ever conducted unconscious bias surveys on its staff, including senior decision makers and management, to measure their attitudes towards different modes of transport?

2. If so, please provide the full survey reports.

Yours faithfully,

Michael Brown
