Monitoring Compliance with Consent Conditions
Brian Warburton made this Official Information request to Porirua City Council
The request was partially successful.
From: Brian Warburton
Dear Porirua City Council,
On 17/08/2011 the Council granted a land use consent to the 'Leisure and Assets Services' group of the Council (PCC file record no. RC 6129). The consented activity was described as being: 'dune restoration operations', and the consented location comprised beach and dune areas in the southern part of Titahi Bay. I understand the Council commenced the earth-working in early 2012.
Please provide me with the following information:
1. Details of all efforts or actions PCC has made or undertaken since early 2012 to monitor whether the conditions on the consent have been complied with by the consent holder (PCC);
2. Details of instances (if any) where PCC has determined that the conditions of consent have not been complied with by the consent holder (PCC); and,
3. With respect to the instances of non-compliance referred to in Point 2 (if any), the efforts or actions (if any) PCC has made or undertaken to enforce compliance with the conditions on the consent, and the nature and scope of the required compliance work.
Yours faithfully,
Brian Warburton
