Dear Wellington City Council,
I wish to request under the Official Information Act and the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act the following information.
What number of new subdivisions have been granted resource consent in the Wellington City region each year over 6 years. What are the numbers of new subdivisions planned or in the consenting process for the next 5 years.
What level of spending has gone into new subdivision infrastructure by the council each year over the last 6 years. What level is planned for the next 5 years.
Has the council formed any strategies to help the building and development for housing for first home buyers in the wellington region and in particular Wellington City. If so what are these plans.

I refer to your email dated 9 March 2021 in which you requested:

Council have decided to grant your request for no cost. However I am still
just working through the information to prepare it for release, I estimate
to have this information to you by the 23^rd April 2021.
You have the right to seek a review by the Ombudsman of this decision,
under section 27(3) of the Act to ask the Ombudsman to review and
investigate my decision.
