Organ donor preference on driver licences March 2021
Mark Hanna made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency
The request was successful.
From: Mark Hanna
Tēnā koutou,
Since March 2016, I have asked NZTA annually for information on the numbers of driver licences with and without a “DONOR” indicator, broken down per age group as in this publication on the NZTA website: https://www.nzta.govt.nz/resources/new-z...
As it is now March of 2021, I would like to request an update of this information.
My previous requests, including NZTA’s responses, can be seen on the FYI website here:
https://fyi.org.nz/request/3719-organ-do...
https://fyi.org.nz/request/5493-organ-do...
https://fyi.org.nz/request/7351-organ-do...
https://fyi.org.nz/request/9732-organ-do...
https://fyi.org.nz/request/12340-organ-d...
I was very happy with how quick and thorough Dan Hozias’s and Boah Rasmussen's responses were to the requests I made in the last two years.
Please release the following information, broken down per age group as in previous years:
1. The numbers of driver licences with and without “DONOR” printed on them.
Please also explain any relevant caveats that should be kept in mind when analysing this information.
Please provide this information in an accessible, searchable format. A spreadsheet format, such as CSV or XLSX, is preferable for tabular data.
Ngā mihi,
Mark Hanna
