Dear Ministry of Health,
Since Wellington airport has become unavailable overnight, medical flights have used Kapiti as an alternative. With the proposed closure of this airport, I would like to request the number of times Kapiti airport has been used over the past six months by flights providing services for Wellington hospital.

"Since Wellington airport has become unavailable overnight, medical
flights have used Kapiti as an alternative. With the proposed closure of
this airport, I would like to request the number of times Kapiti airport
has been used over the past six months by flights providing services for
Wellington hospital.”

required under the Official Information Act 1982, the Ministry will
endeavour to respond to your request no later than 15 February 2021, being
20 working days after the day your request was received.
Please note, the three weeks between Christmas Day and 15 January 2021 do

which was transferred from the Ministry of Health to Capital & Coast
District Health Board (CCDHB) 28 January 2021.
Your request has been received and logged. As required under the Official
Information Act 1982, we will respond to your request within 20 working
days. You should therefore receive a response on or before 26 February
2021.
If a large amount of information has been requested or if CCDHB needs to
consult in order to make a decision, we may need to extend this date (this
is provided for in section 15A of the Act). We will advise you if such an
extension is necessary.
CCDHB provides the first five hours of staff time to prepare a response
