“Since Wellington airport has become unavailable overnight, medical flights have used
Kapiti as an alternative. With the proposed closure of this airport, I would like to request
the number of times Kapiti airport has been used over the past six months by flights
providing services for Wellington hospital.”
The Ministry of Health believes the information you have requested is closely connected with
the functions of Capital and Coast District Health Board. As a result, I have decided to transfer
your request to Capital and Coast District Health Board under section 14 of the Act. You can
