Membership of the New Zealand Initiative
Alex Harris made this Official Information request to Watercare Services Limited
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Alex Harris to read a recent response and update the status.
From: Alex Harris
Dear Watercare Services Limited,
The New Zealand Initiative is described by the media as a "libertarian think-tank" ("Ratepayers pay $92,000 for membership of libertarian think-tank", Stuff, 22 December 2020). According to its website, your agency is a member. I would like to request the following information under the LGOIMA:
* When did your agency join the New Zealand Initiative? Is it still a member?
* Who approved joining? Was there any formal analysis of the compatibility of membership with your agency's purposes and functions? (if so, I would like a copy)
* How much membership has cost your agency since joining.
I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.
With regards to s12 of the OIA, I am an NZ citizen and in NZ.
Yours faithfully,
Alex Harris
