From: OIA Requests

Kia ora Geoff W
As noted in the Ombudsman guide for making official information requests
(https://www.ombudsman.parliament.nz/reso...),
an agency is not required to respond in terms of the Official Information
Act 1982 if you are deemed ineligible to submit a request; however, an
agency should still deal with your request in a reasonable manner.
As such, the Ministry has reconsidered your request of 17 September 2020
and is providing some information that may be useful to you.
Information requested: Where is the 2018 and 2019 mental health annual
report. Please provide me with copies of these ASAP or reasons why they
haven’t be done.
The Ministry has deferred publishing the Annual reports from the Office of
the Director of Mental Health and Addiction Services due to our response
to COVID-19. The Ministry expects that the 2018 report will be made
available in the coming weeks at:
[1]https://www.health.govt.nz/about-ministr...
Under section 28(3) of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to
review any decisions made under this request. The Ombudsman may be
contacted by email at: [email address] or by calling 0800 802
602.
