Dear University of Otago,
This is a request for the following information under the Official Information Act.
I am requesting all documents detailing a breakdown of the university's financial losses due to COVID-19. Specifically, I am requesting a sheet of data detailing where the university was expecting income and did not receive any (e.g. from international students).

I am also requesting any internal correspondence on how the University of Otago plans to recover their financial loss due to COVID-19. Especially correspondence relating to: any cuts to staff (particularly academic staff and technicians) being considered or confirmed from now to the end of next year; any budget reductions for departmental spending - especially on research equipment for science departments- ; and any information about reducing the number of papers that the university offers. By staff cuts I am specifying a request for any information for the following: redundancies OR salary reductions OR reductions in hours.
