Thank you for request of 30 June 2020. The Ombudsman is not subject to the
Official Information Act 1982 (OIA), however, this Office endeavours to
comply with the spirit of the legislation, unless we are unable to do so.

 

You have asked for the number of complaints received against Immigration
New Zealand between 1 January 2019 and 30 June 2020 and between 1 July
2017 and 31 December 2018.

 

The following table outlines the grounds of complaint the Office has
received against Immigration New Zealand during the specified timeframes.*
