Procedures and guidelines for road signage during roadworks

William laing made this Official Information request to Palmerston North City Council

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Palmerston North City Council should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

From: William laing

Dear Palmerston North City Council,

I would like to have all documentation on your procedures and guidelines used for setting up signage on Palmerston North city roads and local state highways during roadworks.

I would also like information that regulates the siting of signage on grass berms, cycle tracks and footpaths.

I would also like a copy of the plan for the signage established In early June 2020 for the roadworks on Te Awe Awe St near Ihaka St and Lincoln tce undertaken by the pn city council

Yours faithfully,

William Laing

Dear Palmerston North City Council,
This is a test follow up email as requested by FYI.ORG.NZ. Please pass to Merle Lavin and the city council IT team

William - please use the "send a follow-up" link on your request at FYI to send a follow-up email to PNCC. I will again locate the email log to confirm it was handed over to PNCC.

Merle - hello! If William's follow-up goes missing too, please put me in touch with your IT team. I will happily work with them to understand what is going wrong and find a solution (such as adding a rule for our domain). Our logs show conclusively that the last message was handed over to PNCC's Office 365 email server (we have recorded the response from PNCC's server accepting delivery). However, it seems probable it was simply classified as spam and has been deleted by now.

Yours faithfully,

William laing
