Dear New Zealand Police,
Could you please provide:
1) The number of people under the age 18 who have been removed off the
streets by police due to child exploitation/ prostitution in the years
between 2010 - 2020 and if there are graphs relating to this such as in
age, area, gender.
2) How many of these children were youth referrals to organisations such
as Oranga Tamariki or other youth providers.
3)What is the current estimated percentage of prostitutes who are underage
overall in NZ?
4) What are the main contributing factors to this that have been noted so
far?
