Official information request for Waikato Regional Airport Limited's 20 Year Long Term Plan.

I refer to your official information request dated 13 April 2020 for a copy of the Waikato Regional Airport Limited's 20 Year Long Term Plan and any plans/documentation relating to the proposed runway extension to 3,000m.

We have transferred your request to the Waikato Regional Airport Limited (WRAL). WRAL is a council controlled organisation and a designated airport authority and accordingly is subject to the provisions of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.

The information to which your request relates is believed to be more closely connected with the functions of WRAL. In these circumstances, we are required by section 12 of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act to transfer your request.

You will hear further from WRAL concerning your request. WRAL's Chief Executive, Mark Morgan, is copied into this email and is aware of your request. Either Mr Morgan or his staff can also respond to any further questions you may have on the matters you are seeking information on.
