Dear Department of Internal Affairs,

I have come across the following passage in Hansard:

"... the Government has just issued throught the [DIA] a survey request to all local authorities to respond in detail on how the [building] code is operating for them, how they are administering the code, and, in particular, the price of building consents for various catergories of residential homes, and to give commercial comparisons if possible. The results of that survey will not be available until early October this year."
