regards to the staff driving complaint you made in September 2019.

I would like to apologise for the time it has taken to get in contact with
you around the outcome of your complaint, there were some difficulties
obtaining your contact information.

Auckland Council takes driving complaints about its staff very seriously,
so we appreciated you bringing this our attention. I received information
on the license plate number and can confirm this was a council vehicle.
Your complaint was referred to management in January to follow up with the
driver and ensure this didn’t happen again.

Once again, I would like to thank you for making us aware of this
situation and trust this driver will take more care when out on the roads
in future.
