Dear Ms Hua,

Thank you so much for your work getting the information together. Just one problem, with the records (NAIT records of all cattle alive/dead/exported/missing held and/or owned by Auckland Council) I was after the 'listed animal details' for each regional park, similar to this (https://fyi.org.nz/request/9582/response...) but also dead/missing/exported status as well as alive status. Instead I have been given the account summaries and movement summaries. Could I please have an updated listed animal details for each of the regional parks.

Many thanks,

Harrison

Dear Harrison,

Thank you for your follow up email relating to the above request and my apology for the delayed response.

I have consulted with the council's Community Facilities department to provide information relevant to your follow up request.

Please find attached a list of cattle on Auckland Council-owned parks.

National Animal Identification & Tracing (NAIT) holds the information on each cow and its location. You can contact them directly for more information.

Please note the attached data was exported from NAIT and is up-to-date as of 10 December 2019 which is the latest data available to the council. The format of the data changes when it is exported from NAIT.

The council does a cattle audit at the end of each financial year. The next audit will be in June 2020. The audit results including the numbers and status of cattle will be available July/August 2020. This will be the most accurate data that the council will hold. Please feel free to contact us after the next audit for the updated date.

Please also note that:
* Wenderholm data is held under the Duder heading. Sites 7km from each other site can be considered as one site.
* Te Rau Puriri, Tawharanui and Shakespear were left off the original response from December - they are included in this attachment.

I hope you find this information useful. If you have any further queries, please contact us at 09 301 0101 or email [Auckland Council request email]
