Effect of fluoride, 1080 and other discharges on fish fertlity

Dear Stuart Nash,

Please could you provide information held by you or your advisors assessing the effect of discharging fluoride from fluoride treated town water supplies, from medications containing fluoride and/ or from fluoride in sodium fluoroacetate ( 1080) and/ or any of their breakdown products on the marine environment, fish habitat, fish fertlity and any other lethal or sublethal effects of fluoride on fish and/ or any possible, suspected or established risks or effects of fluoride on consumers of fish including where fish are taken from or downstream of areas where 1080 poison is used and/or fluoride is added to public drinking water .
Please can you also include:
1) any advice you have received on these issues from any of your advisors since you became minister or fisheries;
2) any communications between you and/or your advisors and any other minister or ministerial advisors since you became minister or fisheries;
3) information to show any research held by you or any of your advisors about possible harm to fish, fish habitat or consumers of fish from fluoride including any cumulative effects.
