Honorary and Adjunct Appointment

john luke made this Official Information request to University of Auckland

The request was successful.

From: john luke

Dear University of Auckland,

I would like to know the name of current Honorary and Adjunct Appointment and separate by their title, (E.g. honorary lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor). Also their bio as well.

Further I understand, Honorary and adjunct appointments are usually for a period of up to three years and appointees may be reappointed as appropriate. May I have their term of appointment as well.

Yours faithfully,

john luke

Dear Mr Luke,

I refer to your request of 7 October 2019. The names and titles of honorary staff are publicly available on the University Directory at https://unidirectory.auckland.ac.nz/search by searching for "honorary" and "adjunct". Biographical information - to the extent that it is available - can be obtained by clicking the staff member's name or portrait in the University Directory and then clicking "view full profile". This constitutes a refusal of your request under section 18(d) of the Official Information Act. The requested information about the duration of appointment for each honorary or adjunct staff member is refused under section 9(2)(a), to protect their privacy. You have the right to make a complaint about this response to an Ombudsman.

Yours sincerely,
Rebecca Ewert
General Counsel
University of Auckland
