Dear Capital and Coast District Health Board,
Under the Official Information Act, I am writing to request a
copy of the contracts for all SMO’s (Senior Medical officers) currently employed at CCDHB in the departments of Vascular surgery, Orthopaedic surgery, Cardiothoracic surgery, Gastroenterology, Respiratory Medicine, Nephrology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Anaesthesia.
The information provided should specifically contain the following per SMO:
- Department
- Job size (breakdown of total, clinical duties, non clinical duties and after hours on-call duties) in hours
- Step scale as per MECA
- FTE status
- MECA base salary per annum
- Additional job size salary
- Allowances (breakdown of call back, roster availability, telephone, any other allowances provided)
- CME allowance
- Bonuses or any other additional remunerations
- Pension
- Total annual income
