     Dear New Zealand Police,
    
     According to a previous but recent OIA request, Eastern District
     police do not keep a record of lost work items.
    
     Do Southern District police keep a record of lost work items? If so
     I would like a copy.
    
     If not, is there a reason no record is kept? Is it a national
     policy?
