The request was successful.

    Dear New Zealand Police,
This request concerns the Eastern District:
In reference to the scheme whereby people can register a party with police -- how many parties have been registered in that district since the scheme started?
I would appreciate a year by year breakdown, but I understand this may not be feasible.
I am a New Zealand citizen, but I understand if you wish to confirm this.
Yours faithfully,
Nicolas Bosma
        New Zealand Police

    Dear Nicolas,
Thank you for your Official Information Act request, which we have
 forwarded for follow-up.
Sincerely
Public Affairs Team

    Dear Nicolas

On 24th June 2013 Police received a request for information from you
requesting information regarding how many parties had been registered
since the district started the parties register scheme.

Police consider that the requested information is more closely connected
to the activities of Road Safe Hawkes Bay who receive the party
registrations.  Accordingly Police have transferred your request to Road
Safe Hawkes Bay pursuant to section 14 (b)(i) of the Official Information
 Act 1982.

Yours sincerely
