Request for contract to provide Wellington Metro Railway Business Cases
Tony Randle made this Official Information request to KiwiRail
Response to this request is long overdue. By law KiwiRail should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: Tony Randle
Dear KiwiRail,
Some months ago, KiwiRail responded to a request to provide the two Crown business cases prepared jointly with the Greater Wellington Regional Council for submission to Ministry of Transport. The first covers KiwiRail network track infrastructure deferred renewals, which predominantly affect the Wairarapa Line. The second business case is to remove network constraints to enable increased capacity (more frequent and longer trains) to operate principally on the Hutt and Kapiti lines. "
https://fyi.org.nz/request/7954-2nd-requ...
I understand these two business cases were prepared with the assistance of Aurecon and possibly other transport consultants.
1) Can I please have a copy of the contract or contracts with the transport consultants used to provide the business case "Wellington Metro Railway Network Track Infrastructure Catch-Up Renewals" ?
2) Can I please have a copy of the contract or contracts with the transport consultants used to provide the business case "Wellington Metro Railway - Unlocking Network Capacity and improving Resilience" ?
If this information is held in electronic form, it is preferred that it is provided in its complete and original electronic format.
Finally, can KiwiRail please acknowledge its receipt of this information request ?
Yours faithfully,
Tony Randle
