Barry Garrick made this Official Information request to Ministry of Transport
The request was successful.
From: Barry Garrick
Dear Ministry of Transport,
I'd like to request all briefings, papers, and aide-memories to do with proposing to increases Petrol Excise Tax and/or Road User Charges in 2017 that the Minister of Transport at the time signed, noted, and/or made decisions on.
I note you have some here (https://www.transport.govt.nz/assets/Imp...), but I'd like the ones where you can see what decision was made, please. This includes, but is not limited to, signed briefings.
I'd ask that anything that falls into the spirit of this request be considered.
Yours faithfully,
Barry Garrick
